A purple what?

Take a look at these splashes of purple in unexpected places. Even a tiny bit of this fabulous color will spice up an ordinary object or room. I say go for it! I once had a purple kitchen (a little much, actually, but it was only paint) and seeing the tub below makes me think of painting a claw-foot tub.

Salvation Army DIY

It's the time of the year when I make grand plans to craft tons of DIY gifts for my big family and lovely friends. It doesn't always happen but I always get excited about the idea of it. I'm going to do it this year. Really.

I'm thinking about upcycling Salvation Army clothes and I found these two ideas.
